Over the course of my professional journey I have had the opportunities to take on leadership positions, grow my skills professionally and get me ready to pursue a career within the government, academia, NGO and private sector.

Some of the leadership roles I have taken on are being an At Large Student Senator at Ryerson, Vice President of Corporate for the Society of Arts, Social Sciences & Humanities (SASS) , Climate Mobility Officer (Thematic) through the Migration Youth & Children Development Network (MYCP), and Contact Point for the Migration & Climate Change Working Group at (YOUNGO) , Graduate Teaching Assistant, and Graduate Research Fellow for Global Affairs Canada. In all of these roles I have mastered the skills of working with diverse communities, building long lasting relationships with others, managing teams and communicating effectively.

The professional roles I have taken on have been Graduate Teaching Assistant at Laurier University, Graduate Research Fellow at the Water Institute,  Research Analysts for the NATO Association of Canada, Policy Researcher through TTCSP,  Settlement and Youth Intern for FCJ, and an Advocacy and Communications Intern for the Women's Peace Network . With all of these roles I gained skills in working in different environments, being an effective listener,   analyzing data, working in teams, and doing independent work.
